Easy to Use and sits nicely in the mat April 28, 2024 Verified Purchase We are just starting out with button training so we were not sure where to start. Instead of getting one or two buttons, we opted to get this small set. The pad looked nice, the buttons were decently sized and various colors and sat securely in the pad.
Our Australian Shepherd seems to have taken to the idea (though, he is lazy and likes to lay down to hit the buttons). We introduced one at a time and after a couple of days of vigorous scratching at it, it is still in good shape. It is pretty responsive in comparison to another well known brand that I had a chance to try. I used two of the transparent stickers but liked that there were a few in there for our own ideas. The buttons have a switch on the bottom. My eye sight is not the best, but I figured out that R was record and P was play. I set the batteries in place and had no problem recording commands.Training side note: It took him a little longer to get to the point where he would press the button on the floor with his paw. Part of the problem was some of the commands we use have signs with them and trying to get him to acknowledge the button turned into laying down because it looked like another command. That's totally my issue and not his (he's pretty smart). I am hoping that once he gets these first two down, the rest will be much easier to teach. I do highly recommend finding some people that already train buttons with their dogs to get ideas. From what I can tell, my dog will be very dependent on placement on the mat which might make it a challenge to move.
Looking forward to getting all these buttons and investing in the next set. As far as I can see, I think these will work great for our Aussie.

Great fun! Our dog is figuring this out December 31, 2023 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) We got this for our dog, Hazel, as a Christmas present. We're excited about it! It arrived neatly packaged. There are some stickers with pictures, for labels, and the buttons range in color shades of yellow and blue. All the buttons work, and it was easy to record our voices. It comes with a little mat if you want to keep your buttons all in one place. Fyi, there are plastic stoppers in the batteries that you need to pull out before they work. Lol, I got excited and didn't realize this at first. I have zero complaints about the product. I have some suggestions though after using them with my dog.
When introducing your dog to the buttons, the instruction guide suggests hitting the button right before she does whatever action it indicates. Basically, get her familiar with hearing that button along with the associated action. I'm sure that works, but I just showed her how by taking her paw and pressing the button with it. Then we immediately rewarded her. We did the "treat" button first, and it didn't take long for her to learn. Once she figured out she needed to press the button, she used the "go for walk", "let's go outside", and "I am hungry". Now we're waiting for her to realize she can actually make requests with the buttons. Right now, she presses them only when she's already expecting something, like dinner time and her daily walk, and we have to remind her to hit it. We've had these for less than a week though, and I believe she could learn to use them more independently with time and consistency.We started with one-word recordings on the buttons, like "treat" and "outside". Those are words she already understood (and I want to stick with those). However, I think the one-syllable recordings can sound the same to her if she's not listening closely. They may sound kind of like that teacher from the old peanuts television series. I switched to short phrases that include the familiar word, like "I am hungry", and I said "hungry" in a silly way that she knows, with the same inflections. With the short phrases, the buttons sound a little more distinctive, and she can hear which button is which more easily. Her ears perked up right away once she heard the recorded phrase vs just the short word. I've also considered taping small distinctive items to each button, to make them even more discernible. The pictures on the stickers are kind of small and may be hard to see.

The buttons came with batteries, a bonus, since you need 2 per button...I would suggest keeping replacements on hand since I don't know how long the originals will last. The buttons were easy to record, I like the personalization you can do by adding our dog's name to the recording. the rubber mat is a nice touch, but we have found that keeping them all in one place is not ideal since we place the buttons by the command they are supposed to do...like "treat" by the treat jar. January 25, 2024 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) Click to play video So, I bought this for my 2 cats (smart cat & dumb cat) SC and DC for short. Let me start off by saying that this kit is beautifully presented. The box, optional button mat, and even the buttons themselves are beautifully presenting, giving this high giftability to animal lovers. They even have plastic coverings to prevent the batteries from being used up before you receive the kit, which is something I've never seen a manufacturer do before (but I love it!!). They're really easy to record on too, so if you were ever planning to button train your pets, this box has everything you need to get started.
The instruction guide is very clear, and direct. It makes learning how to train your pet pretty easy, and is high quality/easy to read.What you may be wondering is; does it work? Why on earth would you test this on a cat? My cats learn from eachother quite a bit, and SC spends a lot of time mimicking my husband and I's behavior. The downside is that she also tries to "vocalize" her wants, so my goal is to give her an outlet for her to speak without screaming at me. DC, who used to be silent, has recently learned from SC to yowl, so it's all the more critical.
Both SC, and DC are very excited about the buttons. They can successfully use the treat button, but they haven't made the associations for "food" or "litterbox" yet. I'm excited to keep working with them with this kit. It's great mental stimulation for SC, and it's terribly cute watching DC try to copy SC to get rewards. 10/10, I can't recommend this more.

Works Great! January 31, 2024 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) First the instructions are so thorough and easy to follow. They explain how you should work each button in with commands and steps on how to get your furball to interact with it. The buttons also come with batteries, which is a great touch. Also comes with a mat to place the buttons in each section. Also great to have. Right now the buttons are in the areas I need them to be in because when I put the buttons on the mat, my dog still gets confused by which is which, But ill just add them one by one until he understands! Great GREAT product. My only complaint is that I wish I can adjust the volume. It isnt very loud. At least for me because I have some hearing problems.

great product February 2, 2024 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) it has worked for our dogs, we installed only 3 of them one for food, one for need to go out (poop or pee) and the 3rd one for water. It is rear the time that they are missing water or food since we alwasy have there food bowls full of food but and they also have a doggy door so they have full access all the time for the back yard. the reason why we got them is for when we travel to other cities or we are at another home we put the buttons next to what they need or want at the moment.

The colors are within a dogs vision the mat that holds the buttons is great to keep them from sliding around. I'm still pushing their paws on the button and giving the reward . Treat, walk, pet.... my dogs ate pretty spoiled and have a pretty solid routine. I wish I started with this when they were younger. I know they understand each button. Great starter kit January 8, 2024 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) What a wonderful way to get your paws wet (pun intended) on button training that little fur baby.
So far, this kit seems just the way to get a better bond and communication going.The buttons and accompanying mat are sturdy. Placing a recording for each button is straightforward (very nice touch that it comes with batteries included!). They "click" well and our dog quickly understood basic associations.
All in all, the ingredients are there to really get a tight rapport going with that best friend. Looking forward to playing with this training tool more.

Entertaining and fun for the entire family! You can make your own recordings for each of the buttons and it does have a training guide to teach your pup how to use. It is very easy to use and get set up! Pet Communication Tool January 7, 2024 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) I'm actually using this with an older kitten. The buttons are big for a cat, of course, but they aren't hard to press. She will pick out the button and bat at it. It’s not enough to set the voice off consistently, but this is made for dogs and we’re just starting out. The colors cats and dogs can see well are similar, so it is adaptable. I think it’s really fun - she got the food connection pretty fast and understood things better once I had two different words going. I do recommend checking out other methods for teaching pets how to use these and trying them out if it doesn't seem to be working.
The buttons each take 2 AAA batteries, which are included, so you can get started right away. It’s intuitive to use them and easy to re-record. The recorder sounds good with lower volume voices as well as higher. The stickers it comes with are good choices, but you can do your own stuff too, of course. The whole kit is well thought out.I’ve wanted something like this for pets for a long time. It has the potential to improve your relationship with your pet(s). Once you start using them though, it's probably best you continue, so there is some commitment involved. This is a great set to see if you will do that or not - much more affordable than some other options I've seen, but still very nice quality.

Pet Communication Buttons January 24, 2024 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) I got these to train my two cats. I started with one button that I recorded the word "treat," a word I know they understand, to introduce the concept. After a few days of working with them, I think they are starting to grasp the idea, though neither has pressed the button themselves yet. I anticipate it won't be much longer before at least one, if not both, of them gives it a try.
Regarding the buttons, they appear to be of great quality and should last a while. Each button comes with preinstalled batteries; you just need to pull the plastic tab blocking the battery contact to start using it. Recording on the buttons is straightforward, and it's easy to re-record them if you want to change the word or phrase. They don't require much force to be pressed, suitable for small or large pets, and the playback is clear and at a good volume. They also come with a nice foam mat that each button fits into, preventing them from sliding or moving around. The only potential issue I see with the mat is if you have a pet that likes to chew, they may tear it up easily. Buttons work great and are easy to program! Voice recording is easy and the results are clear and easy to hear. The volume level, although not adjustable as far as I can work out, is the perfect level I'd say. The mat is large and holds the buttons in place so they don't slide around as my dog scratches at them. The logo in the center of the mat is a bit cheesy though, if I'm being honest. I think it would have been better to have the logo in a more inconspicuous spot. The only issue with the design is that it clashes with most decor (especially the decor and furniture in my home) but this is just my opinion of course. My dog seems to be enjoying learning how to use the buttons and I'd say she's well on her way. There are many great videos on YouTube that give insightful information on how to teach your dog how to use the buttons. I encourage you to do ample research before taking on this kind of project! Overall, I think these buttons are great quality with enough supplied to teach your dog up to 8 different words, which they can then use to communicate their needs! 5/5 recommended!

fun training January 20, 2024 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) We've all seen those husky videos pushing the buttons. This allows you to do the same thing, of course your dog needs to learn to do it and you need to have the patience to train them with it. These work well and I enjoy them. If you are unsure of how to train your dogs to these, I would definitely do your research before getting these as it is not a quick or easy process. One of the best that we've tried with our puppy! January 22, 2024 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) We recently adopted a Labrador-Blue Heeler puppy from our local shelter. I've always been intrigued by these buttons and wondered if they could really work. We had received another brand and even though she used them well, I found the sound quality to be very poor. The Kul King's buttons sound quality is very clean and clear! I love that they come with stickers so that the humans can remember what the buttons say. I don't think the mat is very useful because I find that it muffles the sound a bit, but if you have a pup that might carry the buttons off or slide them around then it could be useful. I think these are great! I'm so very happy with them and love that our puppy - and even our older dog - can communicate with us. 10/10 would recommend! One person found this helpful

Phenomenal starter pack! December 24, 2023 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) This Kul King's Dog Buttons for Communication Starter Pack is something that I think most of us or at least some of us have seen with these different videos going around on platforms of these dogs communicating with these buttons and I thought why not have my puppies start too. It's going to be nice to see them grow with the process and have their communication needs met by means of us really trying to hear what's being said. So far my dog is able to push buttons but I know that they'll get more understanding as time proceeds. This is an awesome starter pack and I hope that I can grow it from here on out. Such a fun tool for dog training! December 28, 2023 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) I've been wanting to get my dog these talking buttons for a while now. She's incredibly smart so I figured she'd pick it up quickly. She figured out one button within 24 hours so we added a second. She's already figured that one out! I love that this set comes with the non-slip mat to hold all the buttons, but I would recommend adding some extra non-stick adhesive to the bottom if you're putting it on a hard floor. It also came with some predesigned labels, with a few blank so you can make custom ones. They are super easy to setup and record to, and they even come with batteries already so that was a big plus! There's a guide to help you teach your dog how to use them, but you'll find what works for you. Definitely recommend this product for dog training! So fun and helpful! One person found this helpful
