Product Overview
The KADTC Dog Treat Giggling Ball is more than just a toy; it's a multi-functional tool designed to enhance your dog's playtime while promoting healthier eating habits. Shaped like a basketball, this treat-dispensing ball comes with an adjustable food dispensing speed, allowing you to control how much and how fast treats are released. As your dog nudges the ball, it emits a giggling sound, adding an extra layer of fun to the experience. Crafted from safe, durable materials, the ball is perfect for indoor and outdoor use, making it a versatile choice for dog owners.

Pros & Cons
Pros
- Interactive Design: The giggling sound and treat dispensing feature keep dogs engaged for longer periods.
- Durability: Made from high-quality materials, it withstands aggressive chewing.
- Adjustable Dispensing: Allows customization of treat release, catering to different dog sizes and speeds.
- Versatility: Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
- Health Benefits: Helps slow down fast eaters, promoting better digestion.
Cons
- Noisy on Hard Surfaces: Some users found it quite loud on wooden floors.
- Size Limitations: May be too large for small dogs to manipulate comfortably.
- Giggling Sound: Not as prominent as some users expected.
How to Use
Using the KADTC Dog Treat Giggling Ball is straightforward. Start by unscrewing the ball to open it. Fill it with your dog's favorite treats or kibble. Once filled, secure the ball and adjust the dispensing hole according to the size of the treats and the desired challenge level. Place the ball in your dog's play area and let them discover the joys of rolling and nudging it to release treats. This interaction not only keeps them entertained but also encourages natural hunting instincts.

Comparison
When comparing the KADTC Dog Treat Giggling Ball to other interactive dog toys, several unique features stand out. Most treat dispensing balls focus solely on releasing treats as dogs play. However, the KADTC Ball incorporates a giggling noise, adding an auditory stimulus that many other toys lack.
For example, while traditional puzzle feeders for large dogs concentrate on mental engagement through complex mechanisms, they may not offer the same level of physical activity. The KADTC Ball, with its basketball shape and rolling design, promotes both mental and physical stimulation, making it a more holistic option.
Additionally, compared to other durable slow feeders for medium dogs, this ball's adjustable dispensing speed offers more flexibility, accommodating various dog sizes and feeding speeds. While some users reported issues with noise and the giggle feature not being as loud as anticipated, the overall durability and engaging design have been consistently praised, as seen in the reviews from Gail Mitchell and others.
In conclusion, the KADTC Dog Treat Giggling Ball is a fantastic investment for any dog owner looking to enhance their pet's playtime and eating habits. Its interactive design, durability, and versatility make it a standout choice among engaging dog treat balls. While there are some minor drawbacks, such as noise levels on hard floors, the benefits of mental stimulation and slow feeding far outweigh these concerns. For dog owners seeking a reliable and entertaining toy that withstands aggressive chewing, the KADTC Dog Treat Giggling Ball is highly recommended. Click here to purchase on Amazon and experience the joy it brings to your furry friend.

Not as expected February 26, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) This does dispense treats, but that’s all the good I can say about it. It’s hard so it’s very noisy on a wood floor and the actual giggle is not very apparent. Period so far my dogs have not taken to it. I’m going to try a different treating it that has more odor to it to see if that will get their interest. I have three dogs. Each of them has gone up to it at different times during the day, but only picks up what may have come out of it around it. I have rolled to them and crusting and it doesn’t make the giggly noise. It just knocks on the wood makes a fake sound. It’s too big to be picked up and carried around so they really have no interest in it.

Fun way to entertain self when i leave the house March 10, 2023 Pattern Name: BasketballSize: Extra LargeVerified Purchase This is very well made. Our Australian Shepherd loves when we pull this out and add some of his kibble. We give it to him when we leave the house as a distraction and a fun way to satisfy his natural desire to ‘hunt’ for his food. I wish there was a smaller opening option for kibble release. Note: to fill, unscrew the ball and fill on open side. My first use I thought i had to push treats/ kibble through holes. 4 people found this helpful

Just remember to adjust the treat opening inside the ball. As you push the button in, you can turn it to the size treat that you are using. My dog goes crazy for this toy. As it moves along the floor it makes noises and dispenses treats. We use the Pup-a Roni training treats, and they work great. Highly recommended! A++++ This toy is Baby Shadow approved! My dog loves this ball, with or without treats inside. July 7, 2023 Pattern Name: BasketballSize: Extra LargeVerified Purchase I bought this as a treat for my 10wk old puppy. She had a hard time at first moving it around to get the treats out, but now at 16wks, she rolls that ball all over the house wether it has food in it or not. She definitely gets her exercise when that is her treat of the day.

Great... Until it broke. September 2, 2023 Pattern Name: BasketballSize: Extra LargeVerified Purchase The ball is fantastic... However it has cracked. Since taking the photo, the crack has gotten worse and can no longer be used. On the ad for the item it states "We also provide you with a lifetime replacement or refund. Any problem with the toy, just click "Contact Us" and we will provide you with a replacement or a full refund." However, there seems to be no "contact us" link. I hope to get this resolved but right now, I am frustrated because I purchased this particular item because of that promise. Customer image 2 people found this helpful

Keeps pets engaged and its durable design makes it worry free. Not for hard floors. May 23, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) I wanted to give this toy to a friend's dog but my dog was so intrigued by the sound it made, I had to give it to her instead. While she has never been much of a fan of hard plastic toys, this one kept her entertained. She rolled it around outside and every time it made the giggle sound, she would stop, turn her head sideways, and sniff it. It was enjoyable to watch her so intrigued by the sound while keeping her engaged with treat dispensing. You can separate the two halves in order to adjust the speed at which food is dispensed. This is especially handy for those dogs that are very determined (hardest setting) or give up easily (easy setting). I wouldn't roll this around on a hard floor - it is fairly noisy on smooth surfaces. While some of the pictures made this look really big, it was about the size of a cantaloupe. This size was ideal as may dog could not get her mouth around it thus decreasing the chances of it getting chewed apart. She has knocked this around the yard, down stone staircases and I've even kicked it a few times. It holds up well to abuse and is reasonably priced for the level of entertainment and features it provides.

Easy to figure out yet takes my Piddy Buu a long time to eat June 24, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) This is one of the best slow feeders I have for my Piddy Buu. This was very easy for him to figure out but it takes him along time to eat. This really slows how fast he eats and is great for digestion. This barely fits his 1.5 cups of kibble. this can be hard to unscrew. You just gotta get a good grip and put some elbow grease into it. Highly recommend for fast eaters.

Dog treat giggling ball adjustable food dispensing speed yellow and blue February 26, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) One of the things I like most about this ball is the fact that it is larger than many treat dispensing toys. The last treat dispensing toy I got for my dog, he wanted to hold it in his mouth and bite it to get the treats out instead of rolling it across the floor. With this one, it is too big for him to get it into his mouth. He is a 77 lb German Shepherd / border collie mix. He loves it. Unfortunately, he has a bad habit of rolling it under different furniture and I find that I am constantly rescuing it. I like that you can use different dispensing options, but I do wish that they had an option where you can use only ONE of the larger holes. Right now I have it set with one large and one small because the treats are too large for the small hole. Because of how large the blue portion is with the gray part sticking out, you can't put too many treats in there. I suppose that's a good thing because you don't want to overindulge your pet, but I prefer to put a lot in there and simply pick the ball up when I feel like my pet has had enough instead of refilling each time I want to give him a treat. It is a fairly sturdy product which is great for my aggressive pup. He absolutely loves it which means I love it. This is a great product and I would recommend it. Our puppy (3 months old) figured this out quickly March 10, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) Really fun for our dog but quite big. She is a feisty puppy of 3 months. She quickly figured out that if she "nosed" it it would roll and dispense kibble. Now she rolls it all over the place and barks at it when it is out of kibble. It squeaks at her as it rolls which intimidated her for about 5 minutes. Now she is the master and it keeps her occupied for quite a while. You could almost feed her the entire meal from this toy.

Entertaining February 24, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) Click to play video This is a fun pet toy. My dog is still getting used to it, she's pretty skittish so it intrigues her but she's still a little scared of it. I think adding treats to it will interest her more. There is a lot of room for treats and the opening is adjustable so you can control how much output there is.
The ball makes little sounds as it rolls around. It is a hard ball, not rubberized or squishy, which is what I expected. It is also large so most dogs won't be able to put it in their mouths, which is probably the point... it's a keep busy toy, not a chew toy. I think it's fun, it just depends on the dog.Customer image

Your dog will love it. March 1, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) We rescued got a dog (Gunner) who clearly had a rough start to life. He's very timid about sounds, sudden movements, and people. He will only take treats/food from my hand. Anyone else has to set it down and step away before he'll take it. Despite being timid he's a very playful dog (lab/pitt mix we think), but he's rough on toys because he's a chewer. Soft toys don't stand a chance, and even the hard rubber once won't hold up. We ordered him this in the hopes of occupying his mind and maybe curbing some of that destructive behavior. I was concerned if he'd even try this based on his timid personality and thought he'd be afraid of the ball rolling, or the giggle sound scaring him. I put a few kibbles in it, and gave him a few while I did it. I then set it on the ground so he could see a piece fall out, and let him nudge the ball out of the way to get the kibble. As it rolled, another kibble fell out, which after a little hesitation, he retrieved. Not long after that though, he was nosing the ball around gobbling up kibbles without a care in the world about the movement and sound. Being hard plastic with no where for him to hold it down and chew, he can't destroy it either. The point here is, it's a great toy. It will occupy your dog's mind, and it's not too scary even for a very timid dog. This easily deserves 5 stars, and comes highly recommended. Gunner approved!!

Finally a bigger treat ball! February 27, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) My dog loves this treat ball! I think the noise it makes is more entertaining to me... she doesn't seem to care about that. I like that it's too big to roll under most of our furniture, so I'm not constantly having to fish it out from under the couch. It's also big enough that my 40# dog cannot pick it up - not that she doesn't try. This is the 4th treat ball in our house and she loves them all. They're all different. This one might be my favorite!
I use them for treats - not slow feeders. She is picky and won't eat kibble if I use that. She'll just leave that on the floor. For that reason, it can be difficult to find something where it won't come out too quickly and have the "game" be over too fast. I've found that a low cal snack like Charlie Bears (can I say that here?) or equivalent size using the smallest hole so it barely fits through will make it last a lot longer.Yes - it can be a little loud.... especially on bare floors. But it's so worth it to me when I want a little reprieve from a pup looking me in the face with those "what are we going to do NOW?" eyes.
It's the one I've been looking for for so long!

Finally a treat puzzle for big dogs! March 7, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) I have 2 giant breed dogs, averaging 150 pounds each, and a little Frenchie. I love that you can adjust the inside for the sized hole you need for kibble or treats. Our dog food has large kibble and has no issues being used with this. My dogs love it, although found the noise a little confusing at first. Now they roll it all over the house eating pieces as they get them out. Super fun for them!

Dog approved March 1, 2025 Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? ) This food dispensing ball with noise is amusing to my dog while food comes out. I would not describe the sound as giggling, but it does make sounds. It is easy to open and place the food into it. You can adjust the size of the dispensing hole. I put a handful of dog food into it, closed it and put it on the floor. My young dog was attracted by it because she likes all toys. As she began to roll it, the food came out. That got her attention, and she continued to roll it. She continued to roll it for a few minutes. Since it is a plastic material, I will take it outside to play with her in the yard. Big surprise, my bored dog is the one that drives me more nuts! Having him occupied is a blessing. I try to buy a smaller bag of food to put in treat toys like this. I don't want him to get too full on more dog food, so I just put some cheerios in. Worked great!
The adjustable hole sizes to limit the amount of treat dispensed is a very nice feature. It is very easy to use, as well. I do wish the ball was a little easier to open, but the logistics wouldn't work out well...also don't want my dog opening it up. The size is easy for him to manipulate and kick around, and he can even get it unstuck from the corners sometimes. The giggle sound is silly, but I'm not sure he even acknowledges it. He is more focused on the rattling sound of the treats inside the ball! As soon as the rattling stops, he sets the ball aside and moves on to other things. I saw DKK mention the KADTC ball can be noisy on wood floors. For those who frequently use this indoors, does it make a really loud racket, or is it more of a manageable sound? My apartment has hardwood throughout, and I'm worried about the constant clanking.
Gail Mitchell mentioned George hasn't destroyed this toy, which is amazing! My dog is an extreme aggressive chewer, even with many 'indestructible' toys. Has anyone else really put the KADTC Dog Treat Giggling Ball to the ultimate test and found it truly holds up against power chewers long-term?
I'm looking for a slow feeder for my fast-eating puppy, like Melody R mentioned using it for. How quickly did your dogs, especially puppies, adapt to getting treats from the KADTC Giggling Ball with its adjustable food dispensing speed? Did it take them long to figure it out?

My dog absolutely loves the KADTC Giggling Ball, and I've found the sound is more of a surprise element, which makes her more curious! On our carpet, it's quieter and the sound seems to echo just enough to grab her attention without being overbearing. Has anyone else found the surface makes a difference?

Thank you for engaging with my review of the KADTC Dog Treat Giggling Ball! I've noted some readers' concerns about selecting the ideal size and potential stretching over time, which could impact fit and durability. My Frenchie's birthday is coming up next month and he's obsessed with balls, like ray wirth's! I love the unique basketball pattern. Is the KADTC Giggling Ball generally in stock, or should I order it way in advance for his party to make sure I get one?
Since this is a treat dispenser designed for active play, how easy is the KADTC ball to clean? Especially if I use softer or slightly messier treats. Does it come apart easily for a good scrub, or is it more challenging to get all the residue out?
