I love that Shal Biacsi mentioned Ollie seemed very comfortable and 'knew he was all dressed up'! My dog can be a bit squirmy. How easy is the multi-piece set to put on and adjust? Does the dog accept it readily, or is it a bit of a wrestle with the adjustable straps?
I see a lot of reviews for the XX-Large fitting great, like Bee Jen William-O'Neal's and Shal Biacsi's Olli. My dog is a much larger, broad-chested bully breed, still a 'gentleman' though! Do you think even the largest size would accommodate a wider chest measurement comfortably, or is this really more geared for smaller-to-medium but long dogs even at XX-Large? Any advice from owners of bigger boys would be super helpful!
Since this is a tuxedo with a 'body piece' and 'adjustable straps,' has anyone successfully worn this *over* a harness, or is it better to try to put a harness *over* it? My dog always wears his harness for walks, even to events.
For those who got the XX-Large and said 'sizes are pretty big compared to normal dog clothes,' could you share your dog's measurements? I have a Golden Retriever mix, and I'm trying to gauge if an XX-Large would fit him properly or if I should look elsewhere since it's listed for 'small dogs'.
I see 'high quality craftsmanship' mentioned. How does this hold up to washing? Does the bowtie bandana or the main suit piece need special care, or can it go in a gentle cycle?
